History and Geography are central to the curriculum at Comber Grove Primary School and are the focus of our half-termly topics. We take a creative approach to the curriculum so that children become fully immersed in each of these subjects and come away with a secure knowledge base. We believe creativity is crucial in enabling children to achieve high standards and give them a more deepened understanding.
Comber Grove Primary School is a one form entry (1FE) primary school in Camberwell. Due to falling pupil numbers across Southwark in the last 5 years we are consulting on what would be the most appropriate decision for the future of primary education in the locality. The Council are proposing to close the school with effect from the 31st August 2024, and would like your views on the proposed closure.
The Council want to receive comments from the broadest range of people possible to reflect the opinion of our community. In order to enable us to ascertain your view on the proposed closure, it would be helpful if you email your views on the statutory proposal below.
